Moondogs were formed in 1991 in Sersale, a small town in the heart of Calabria, South Italy, by founder Antonello Sacco.

From the very beginning, the band followed a restless and visceral path, marked by several line-up changes and a constant search for their own sound.

In 1995 the formation finally stabilized and the first demo, No fuckin’ mask, was released: a raw and uncompromising work rooted in heavy-thrash metal, which soon caught the attention of the specialized press…
